Zabeel Ladies Club (ZLC) is a premium fitness and wellness club with state of the art facilities. The Brief: ZLC invested heavily in rebranding so that all their digital touch points match their luxury venue however the user experience of their mobile application has been lagging. My role: Creative Director + UX Design Lead I was hired to refresh the user experience to ensure the mobile application was on brand. Here is what I was involved with: – discovery meetings to understand the project goals and figure out the scope – business & requirement analysis – even though ZLC provides its members fitness and wellness services, the brand is positioned as a hospitality brand. I had to design an experience that married the wellness + hospitality concept – analyze the brand strategy, competition, benchmarks, data and create user profiles – presented moodboard, concepts and stylescapes based on analysis to lock down direction – develop the information architecture – created wireframes and interaction direction – feedback and iteration – create initial user interfaces and style guides – since there were several screens to be designed, I hired and directed a junior UI designer named Syed Osama to help me complete the designs – present the designs to the client and then work on feedback + iteration – delivered project file as PNGs and Adobe XD Source file to the development team
